CHRONICLES OF THE ELDERLY The interns of “_Accountants Le Excellence” _embark on a social responsibility project to understand the experiences of the aged in society, so as to implement envisaged projects to improve the dignity of the elderly. They recently had the privilege of visiting a home for the aged. Ironically, even though the entrance is free and there are no high walls to jump, they realised that for some reason many people never make the time to visit this weak and frail sector of society. Nevertheless, on arrival, the interns were really impressed with the surroundings of the old age home. The neatly painted pale grey Lilliputian cottages with little lush gardens outside complemented the relatively large wooden window and doorframes. Light infiltrated the cosy little homes so that the interns had a clear view of the interior of the charming cottages. At this beautiful sight, the interns suspected that people generally underestimate this place. Why would you want to live in the big wide world in your old age when you could live in such a cool place? Why experience traffic and the rush of everyday life at that age when you could be chilling in this awesome-looking place with others your age? For a moment, the beauty of the surroundings blew them away. But then, slowly, as the group of interns moved closer to the cottages and caught sight of some of the ageing residents of this magnificent village, the beauty started ripping at the seams, making way for palpable loneliness. As they stepped into the communal gardens, twenty people were seated on the tiny benches sprawled around the flourishing shrubbery. Tired and empty eyes, void of all emotion, gazed back at the young group of visitors. The ageing residents of this delightful village greeted them with feint smiles. The interns noticed an old man who was sitting all alone and sat with him for roughly ten minutes. No words were exchanged during this time, as the old man simply put forward his hand to greet one of the interns closest to him. When the intern reciprocated the gesture, he held the intern’s hands and started looking at him intently, with misty eyes. The intern realised the importance of effortless love at this moment, as love doesn’t recognise any language. When love is channelled by expressing feelings in an open manner, words sometimes lose their significance. We always have a love for our near and dear ones, but the strange love shared with an unknown person was discovered in this encounter. Passing long days alone in a home eventually makes you feel unwanted. The desire for attention naturally eats you up inside. Of course, the need for love and attention sprouts from the absence of family, the absence of children, and the absence of a purpose in life. In reality, the elderly don’t want gifts. All they want is some love and attention.Choose an alternative title for the above article that is grammatically correct from the options below:
