It was disrespectful. Students should care for their peers, provide support in learning opportunities, and work collaboratively and respectfully in all situations.

It was not constructive or informative feedback. Students should be prepared, when called upon, to provide constructive feedback to peers on their performance.

It was offensive. Students should not make any comment or post material that is, or might be construed to be, racial or sexual harassment, offensive, obscene (including pornography), defamatory, discriminatory towards any person, or incite hate.

Krishan should have asked Tayla directly for her number if he wanted it, perhaps in a more social setting (not in the context of the assessment, and not by asking Indya)

Put Indya in an awkward position

As this is an academic learning situation, Krishan should consider how this course of action might make Tayla feel

He didn't have to answer them straight away, as long as he planned on answering them later that day, for instance

Krishan could mention to Indya that he prefers an alternate form of communication (if he didn't appreciate messages)
