The engineers must think of executing any plans by first considering their job security. 

The public safety should not be prioritised as that may eventually lead to loss of jobs as well as incur economic damage to the companies. 

The engineers should be aware of their rights and responsibilities and as per the need must refer to the guidelines of various professional bodies. 

The engineers should be selfless, and deeply devoted to the cause of public welfare even at the cost of incurring self harm. 

The corporate ethics should be less rigid and the board members should never be approached for any solution.
