Commuting

Research in France has found that French commuters,  spend an average of 50 minutes commuting to work, have one of the longest commute in Europe. People  work in Paris use public transport most, but outside the capital 80% of commuters use cars to get to work, a situation  researchers say should convince the government to improve France's road system. The conclusion of their report,  will come as no surprise to anyone  has travelled on French roads at peak times, is that France is a nation  the car is king. Many people  drive to work do it because they have no other choice, and the poor state of public transport is something else to  the report draws attention.
