Leslie Andrews and Denis Harrison have been neighbours for thirty years in Clayton. There have been numerous disputes between the two of them, however both are steadfast and refuse to move away. In 2010, Leslie initiated proceedings against Denis for damages caused to her pool by the roots of a tree growing on his property. Denis was adamant that there was nothing that he needed to do, as he loved his tree and did not want to cut its roots, and paid little attention to the proceedings. His lack of attention was detrimental and in 2014 a decision was made against him. Denis appealed this decision immediately to the County Court and the case was reported in the law reports.
